Itinerary

We will move from Pokhara after having breakfast. From Pokhara we will take a jeep to Ghandruk village. Ghandruk village is a culturally inhabited region of Nepalese Gurung community. We will have our lunch in Ghandruk Village. Our trail goes through this beautiful village. After the lunch we will make our way to Tadapani. The trail goes through this beautiful village. In about 4 hours we will reach Tadapani. The trail is up hill and we walk through beautiful rhododendron forest.

We will wake up early to watch sunrise with mountains filled with golden light from our hotel. After the beautiful sunrise we will eat our breakfast and hit the trail towards Dobato, which will be our destination. Most of our trail goes through beautiful oak and rhododendron forest. With the short break in Meshar Danda 2969m, you hit the trail again to Ishru. Ishru 3187m is a small lunch town on the route of Muldai Viewpoint Trek. After lunch we will walk for around 2 hours and reach our destination for the day, Dobato. If we reach early, we can also go to Muldai view point to watch sunset also. The hike is only around 20 minutes.

Today we will wake up early and hike 20 minutes up to watch sunrise from Muldai View Point. On a perfectly clear day, we will be able to view sunrise with 360-degree panoramic view of 3 different Himalayas ranges with more than 25 snow-clad mountains. Following mountain peaks can be seen from Muldai view point: Dhauliguri 6, Gurja Peak, Dhorpatan (Jirbang) Peak, Dhauligiri 4, Dhauligiri 5, Dhauligiri 3 Dhauligiri 2 and Tukuche Peak form Dhauligiri Mountain Range. Similarly, Nigiri North and South, Bhraha Shikhar (12 Peak or Fung), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna 2, Gandharva Chuli, Fishtail Mountain, Mardi Himal, and Lamjung from Annapurna Mountain Range. In the same vein Ngadi Peak, Himal Chuli, Mt. Buddha Himal, and Ganesh Himal 5, with Mount Manaslu south pinnacle are from Manaslu Range.
We will eat breakfast in the hotel after sunrise and start our trek. After 4 hours of walk we will reach Chistibung and eat our lunch here. Steep uphill section of the trek starts from here. After 3 hours of up hill trek, we will reach our destination; Khopra Danda Ridge. From here you can see amazing views of Dhaulagiri, Damphus Peak, Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri, Annapurna 1, Annapurna South, and others. The Khopra ridge also provides views of the deepest gorge in the world- Kaligandaki Gorge.

We will wake up early in the morning to watch sunrise from around the hotel. We can see amazing view of Dhaulagiri ranges and Annapurna ranges diffused in the golden light of sunrise. We will eat our breakfast in the hotel and start our trek down to Swanta. The trek to Chistibung is through dense forest where you will feel in tune with the nature. We can eat lunch or take a tea break and then we will continue our trek and reach our destination of the day; Swanta Village. The village is also known for its community cheese factory. We will explore the village and stay overnight in a lodge.

We will eat breakfast and start our trek. at first, we will descend through the village fields and reach a small river which we will cross on a suspension bridge. From there our trail goes uphill through the beautiful mixed forest of rhododendron, oak, and pine trees. After ascending for a while, we will reach out destination of the day; Ghorepani. We will stay in a good mountain lodge in Ghorepani.

Today, we will wake up 2 hours before than the sunrise time and hike up to Poon Hill viewpoint to view the sunrise and the golden light that diffuses over the snow caped mountains. From Poon Hill, we can view a brilliant panorama of mountain ranges from different perspective than we did from Khopra Ridge. Following mountains can be seen - Mt. Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Annapurna III (7855 m), Machhapuchhre (6993 m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m), Varaha Shikhar Annapurna IV (7525 m), Annapurna II (7937 m) and Lamjung Himal (6931 m), and many more. After sunrise we will return to the hotel and eat out breakfast. The we will star our descent. We will hike down to Ulleri for around 3 to 4 hours and then take a jeep to Pokhara.
