Itinerary

Morning breakfast and then you drive for 2 hours from Pokhara to Ghachok. Your trek starts from Ghachowk (1494m). This is the easy part of the trek. You will walk for around 4 to 5 hours at normal pace. During the trail you will be able to enjoy the beautiful view of Annapurna range, Machhapuchhare and parts of Lmajung Himal. After 4 hours of uphill you will arrive at Hile Kharkha where you will spend the night in a Tea house.

Eat morning breakfast and then you start you trek. You will walk for around 5-6 hours which is basically uphill. Most of the trek will be inside Rhododendron Forest. Most part of the trek is uphill and few downhill. The trail is very quiet and peaceful as this is newly opened route and there are few people even during peak season. You will arrive at Khumai Danda (hill) which is at 3245 meters. You will be able to see the panoramic view of Annapurna Range and Machhapuchhare. You will feel like you are just in front of Machhapuchhare.

Wake up early morning, 2 hours 30 minutes before sunrise time and hike for 2 hours to Korchan to watch on of the most beautiful sunrise with panoramic view go golden Annapurna, Mardi and Machhapuchhare mountain. From Korchan you feel like Machhapuchhare is within arm’s reach. You can have your breakfast packed and eat at Korchan or you can also have breakfast at your teahouse. You will spend couple of hours enjoying view and taking photos/ videos at korchan. You then come back to your hotel, have lunch and spend the day there. At night under clear sky, you will be able to the most beautiful night gazing the stars and mountians.

Early morning you watch the sunrise and the mountain view from your hotel. You then eat your breakfast and then you trek downhill to Mirsha village. Gurung communities’ people live in Mirsha village. You can walk have a look at local village, enjoy local food and local culture of native Gurung people.

Eat breakfast in the morning and trek downhill to Ghachok via tato pani (Hot spring). You can take a dip and enjoy the hot water on your way to Ghachok. However, this will depend on the condition of the river. From Ghachowk you will drive back to your hotel in Pokhara.
